Waterfalls are one of nature’s more magnificent spectacles but they can also be a bridge between two countries: Argentina and Brazil share Iguaza Falls, Vietnam and China share Detian Falls and Canada and the US share Niagara Falls. Tile designs can similarly span cultures. Not so long ago a client asked for a design that married US mid-century modern with a Mexican design aesthetic. We loved the mix, particularly when made with Portuguese tiles designed in the Netherlands, and this Waterfalls design grew from that. Endless colourways are possible so here are a few to inspire your imagination.
