Sample kits

A sample kit lets you see the tile, glaze and colours close up as well as the depth of the glaze and the natural variation in colour. Sample tiles will also show how one tile can subtly differ from another.

What’s in a kit

• Two screen-printed tiles and a selection of small colour chips (usually around 10), or
• Two Relief tiles and up to five larger glaze colour samples.

The sample tiles are representative. We hold only a small range of what’s possible in sample stock. The tiles we send are matched to your choices as closely as possible.

What it costs

The samples are free; you pay only for delivery: €25 within Europe, $40 to the US and €40 to Canada. For other countries we can provide a quote on request. Interior designers, architects and contractors receive one free sample kit per project.

Delivery

We send sample kits by UPS express from our studio in Utrecht, usually within three working days of payment. They typically arrive in two to three working days in Europe and two to four in the US.

Use the form below to tell us about your project and the look you’re after, or send a picture of a Smink tiles that you like. Together we’ll select the tiles and colours that suit your project, and put the kit together here in the studio. We’ll reply within one working day.

After your samples arrive

Choose your colours, ideally in the room where the tiles will go, and send us your wall dimensions. We’ll design a bespoke layout to your measurements.
