Centre of gravity
Our designs don’t usually have as many different screen-printed shapes as this one: four or five is the norm but this design has eleven. The variety of forms combine through colour rather than geometry but something else also pulls them together. They are like wooden blocks in a tray that’s been tipped to one side, squeezed together by gravity. The name carries a deliberate irony. While gravity has a central point, this design seems to delight in having none.
